Staying Healthy With A Busy Schedule

Hey Babes!

I'm currently working towards obtaining my MBA in Music Business through an online education program. I also work a full-time job and am in the midst of starting a business. Plus, I like to sleep and eat in my spare time ;) .

I know I'm not the only one with a crazy busy schedule. Therefore, I've created a list of things I'm doing to make sure that I stay healthy while pursuing my goals. Feel free to share this with friend and family on social media. It's important that we take care of our bodies while we're on the journey to achieving our dreams!

  • Stay hydrated:

  • Keep a 24-32 oz water bottle with you at all times. This size of water bottle will keep you from making frequent refill trips.

  • Essential oils are your friends!

  • I use my diffuser while studying to keep me focused and motivated.

  • Take your vitamins, young lady!

  • You have to keep your brain and body healthy while your under an increased amount of stress. The Vegan Lifelong Vitality Pack are my vitamins of choice and are also available in my shop (

  • Stretch and exercise between breaks:

  • I keep my exercise mat and weights nearby and sometimes use my breaks to stretch and elongate my body. I sit at a desk all week and sitting at a desk doing homework doesn't do my body any good. Therefore, I make sure to take time to stretch out as much as possible.

  • Give your eyes a break:

  • Try to look away from your computer at least once every 20 minutes. This will help keep your eyes healthy while your working on your latest paper, report or project.

  • Walk:

  • Speaking of breaks, make sure to step outside and get some fresh air during your lunch or dinner break. Breathing in the fresh air can really revitalize your cells while reminding you that there is a whole world out there for you to enjoy once you're done with what you're working on.

  • Eat and snack:

  • You need fuel. Stock up on healthy, nutritious snacks that you can enjoy while your crunching the numbers. It's tempting to reach for chips when you're stressed out. If you keep the healthy (and tasty) alternatives nearby, you won't be as tempted to give in to your cravings.

  • Tea:

  • I'm not a coffee drinker but I love

tea. Keep your favorite blends nearby so they can keep you energized while you crank out those papers.

  • Sleep:

  • Everyone has a limit. You are a living breathing organism and you require nourishment and rest. Sleeping is key because it's actually what helps boost your memory. So while your all night cram session may sound like a great idea, it won't do you any good if you're too exhausted to recall any of the information you read the day before. Also, don't be scared of naps. They're not just for two-year olds anymore. ;)
